BRIC-1 (Battery Impedance Classifier) is a battery internal resistance testing equipment. It provides Four wire method to test a battery and measure its Ohm (internal resistance), testing voltage and testing current. BRIC-1 provides two terminals for voltage and two terminals for current to test a battery.
When current flows in the cell, an IR voltage falls in the internal resistance of the cell, which reduces the terminal voltage of the cell during discharge and increases the voltage required to charge the cell and thus its effective capacity. Along with reducing its charge/discharge efficiency. Higher discharge rates give rise to higher internal voltage drops.
The BRIC-1 Battery Impedance Classifier is specifically designed for accurate measurement of battery internal resistance. Using the four-wire method, it provides precise measurements of internal resistance, testing voltage, and testing current.
The device features separate terminals for voltage and current measurements, ensuring accurate readings without interference between measurement circuits.
