Source Load Connection
Understanding Source Load Connection
The source load connection is easy to do. On one side power source is connected and another side load is connected.
Source Load Connection Diagram
The right image shows voltage and current measurement in source load connection.
All the measurement is done internally so no need for extra probe or wire required for measurement.
Key Characteristics of Source Load Connection
- Simple connection method with power source on one side and load on the other
- Internal measurement circuitry eliminates need for external probes
- Commonly used for power measurements in testing equipment
- Provides simultaneous voltage and current monitoring
Advantages of Source Load Connection
Simplicity
Easy to set up with minimal wiring requirements
Convenience
No additional probes or wires needed for measurements
Implementation Guidelines
- Connect the power source to the input terminals of the measuring device
- Connect the load to the output terminals of the measuring device
- Ensure proper voltage and current ratings for both source and load
- Verify all connections before applying power
- Monitor measurements through the device's display or interface
